off we go!!!

Sorry for the lack of posts lately! We are in the middle of a move that I couldn't be more excited about!!! We are moving to Chicago for the summer!!! Words cannot express how much I LOVE this city!!! When we were in Milwaukee last summer we were only an hour and a half away from Chicago, so we went down there all the time! Not only does Chicago have the BEST shopping EVER, it is SO pretty and SO clean! Can you tell that I am excited?? I also couldn't be any happier about all of the wives we have on board to hang out with, especially my bf Melanie! Since sophmore year before school would end Melanie and I would plan out our summer extravaganzas and we always had it all written out on paper. It always included including what we were going to do, where we were going to travel, and what boys we were going to kiss! Aggressive, I know! We called it our hit list! ha ha! So... Extravaganza 2008 here we come!!!!

Since it has warmed up a bit...Johnny and I have been taking Ivy to the park quite frequently. She absolutely loves to swing! She loves when we act like she kicks us...she laughs SO hard...i love it! Everytime we go, we have to bring bread for the ducks. She will not let Johnny put her down...she is totally scared of them. After seeing my little brother Tyler literally get attacked by a duck, I dont blame her! She does love to chase them with Johnny though:) I seriously cannot believe how big she is getting, well I shouldnt say big, she still weighs 20 pounds...old I guess I should say.

This past weekend we were able to spend some time in moab for a manager retreat/training. When we arrived on Thursday, we hiked the arches (way cool, pics coming soon.) Later that night we had a fun dinner with everyone, followed by a bonfire. The next day we went jeeping. I have never been so scared in my LIFE!!! I seriously thought we were going to die....no joke! I had no idea that these jeeps were capable of so much! Some of the boys were going up the craziest places! Luckily, johnny is pretty conservative, he loves to watch, and laugh! ha ha! As soon as we got back from jeeping we had a really nice dinner on top of this mountain...it was awesome! Following dinner, we had an awesome counselor come talk to us about relationships, we learned so much! The next day, the girls had "wives training" which was awesome as well! We learned how to run the wives club out in our area's and our roles in helping our husbands and their office succeed. We met awesome people, and had an awesome time! Thanks Platinum!!! Also I forgot a big thanks to my sister Ashley who watched Ivy for the weekend! Ashley is pretty much her second mommy. Thanks Ash!!!
