happy birthday...tara...John...& rachel!!!

Today is my sister-in-law tara,my friend rachel & my father-in-law's birthdays! Here are a couple of things that I love about all of them!




Tara: Can laugh harder than anyone I know! Orders two entree's at dinner instead of one...but somehow still maintains a ridiculous PERFECT body!Good at everything she does, and is very easy going.



John (aka jolly john): The happiest person I know! Wears the funniest ties I have ever seen! e.g. has a christmas tie that sings music and sometimes goes off during sacrament meeting! Is extremely optimistic, and a great example.



Rachel: An awesome friend. She can talk Forever...and I love it! The most organized person I know! Is very entertaining... and we have been friends since we were newborns!

i love...letters

Last night at enrichment we made these cute magnent love letters. Appropriate for valentine's day, and forever. While making these, we talked about the book "love languages." I have never read it, but I can tell you that it is going to be the next book that Johnny and I read together! You can buy the letters at any craft store, as well as the mod poge glue. (sp?) And I am told that you can find the book "love languages" just about anywhere.

Since it has been so freaking cold in Utah, I rarly even go outside to take pics of my little ivy.... so that leaves me to posting about recent findings that I love! I am in love with these two nusery's. The top one is from domino magazine, and the bottom three are from the designer of the scoop's nursery.

YOU ROCK DAD!

I just wanted to give a little shout out to my new pilot dad! I think that when he bought this plane it was motivation to get his license so that he could actually fly it. He finally finished everything this last weekend! I cannot wait to go up with you dad! By the way...can anyone guess my dad's age??? You ROCK dad!!

President Hinckley (1910-2008)

Well I am sure that everyone has already heard the sad news about President Hinckley's passing. When I heard the news a couple of hours ago, my heart literally skipped a beat. He has been the prophet of our church since I was ten years old. I will never forget the time when I chased him down a hall to shake his hand. He was such a cute little man... it will be hard to never see him wave his cane or make his cute jokes again. Though it is very sad, I cannot imagine the reunion that he is having with his sweet wife and our savior at this moment. He will be dearly missed by all of the people of our church and everyone that knew him.

This is a video of johnny tickling Ivy. He can make her laugh harder than anyone can. This is a couple months old...i just couldn't figure out how to shrink it. I finally figured it out, but the quality is poor... does anyone have any suggestions?

my grandma's house

Here are a couple of pics from this last week at my parents house. Ivy and I had so much fun in az this last month. We are now back in utah....we are very glad to be back with Johnny, but we miss my family A LOT! We miss being able to play outside everyday:( Hopefully we will be back soon! We miss you guys!

Yesterday, mel and I got together. Most of our afternoon was spent outside trying to take pictures of ivy and clark for their wedding video. After giving up on ivy, it turned into a photo shoot of mr clark, while Ivy kept herself busy dipping her face into my mom's fountain! Clark is such a cute little man! Ivy loved hitting him on the head! jk it is really been an issue! Why has my little ivy turned so dang sassy! Help! I need some good tips on punishing her...every time I try to be serious with her, I start laughing! Bad mom! Anyway...melzoid and I have had alot of fun together this week. We went and saw Juno together (melanie cried...I laughed) It was such a funny movie! We loved it! Thanks for all of the fun times zoid!
